Let's give it up for the admissions office staff of UC San Diego! Local news sources reported that after rejecting 29,000 students earlier this month, the university accidentally sent out an email congratulating them all on their acceptance. Two hours later, the mistake was realized and an apology email was sent out, informing those 29,000 rejects that they were still not accepted.
Sad thing is, if I was one of those 29,000 rejects, I think I'd have to feel REALLY BAD about myself. I mean--damn--I didn't get into the university that has no idea how to send a simple email to the correct recipients!!
